Course Highlight

The MS (Master of Surgery) program in Orthopaedics at Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital (GIMSH) is meticulously designed to nurture skilled and compassionate orthopaedic surgeons capable of addressing a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. Throughout the MS Orthopaedics program at GIMSH, students undergo rigorous training covering various aspects of orthopaedic surgery. From trauma management to joint replacements, sports medicine to spine surgery, the curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of orthopaedic conditions and their surgical management. Students explore topics such as orthopaedic trauma, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, pediatric orthopaedics, and orthopaedic oncology, among others.

Clinical exposure plays a pivotal role in the MS Orthopaedics program at GIMSH. Under the guidance of experienced orthopaedic surgeons and faculty members, students actively participate in clinical rotations, orthopaedic clinics, surgical theaters, and trauma centers.
